I took the boys to go sledding & shot Jalen's BB Gun up by Heise. All of the boys had a fun time shooting the frozen water. It was so beautiful.

Making cookies

We had so much fun making cookies. Kaden made an awesome googly eye gingerbread guy. We sent him to see grandma. She really enjoyed eating him. We made so many cookies we still have dough. I am really excited... i work till 12 tomorrow then I don't have to go back to work until Monday. I love staying home with the boys the day after christmas to play with them and their new toys. I wish all of you a very merry Christmas!!

Friday night fun

Friday night we went to the museum to see the gingerbread houses and old santa collections. Then we went to see a house with the musical light show. The house had so many lights on it & would turn on & off to the music. It was so awesome.

The booby trap

As I was going to bed, I walked past Kaden's room & the door was almost closed. I slowly opened it as this is what I saw. He tied a jump rope on his wrist & to the I had a hard time reaching in to get it off his wrist. The next morning, Kaden told me he was hoping it would wake him up if someone came into his room.

Grilling in December

Several months ago, I bought some great steak seasoning & we started to grill some steaks. After a few minutes, the knob of the grill feel off. Seconds later the hose feel from the grill & one great fire started with the propane tank. We were thinking the tank was going to explode. It was so scary.

So, on Black Friday, Maren picked up a NEW grill for me. It is the best grill I have ever had.

Last night we went to help my mom put up her tree. She still is pretty week after her back surgery. By the time we got home to grill it was dark. But we HAD to grill anyway. We got some great steaks and yes they were GOOD. I am so excited to have a grill again. I think we might grill some salmon today. YUMMY!

Kaden & the christmas train

Kaden loves the train around the tree. Each day he asks me if he can let it go around at least 2 times. Of course, this turns into 4. How can you not let him. He loves it!!

My favorite part of decorating for Christmas

This last weekend the boys & I and Maren put up the tree & got the village out. Maren & Jalen put the houses out, and Kaden & Jalen put all the people out. They really love this part. I hope to put the lights up this weekend & will post some pics.
